This is bill is one of 27,800 June 7, 1776 1 Shillings bills authorized by the colony. The bill includes the motto ”Qui Tra Sus (Qui Transtulit Sustinet) (He who transplanted sustains) and Sigillum Coloniae Connecticensis” (Seal of the Connecticut Colony)“. These bills were printed by Timothy Green. It is estimated that about 300 these bills exist today.

This is an excellent opportunity to add an affordable example of a genuine piece of colonial paper money to your collection.
