Fire helmet badge by Paul Conway Shields. It is marked on the back, Paul Conway Shields, and also has a 1-800 phone #. It looks like this one came from a lieutenant in the north count fire district of western Washington. There is an area to hold a velcro patch that i guess would may be display the individuals station number. It measures approx. 6.25\" x 5.25\".
This shield appears to be used; it shows some small scuffs and scratches, there is dent on the front at the top, a bit of the material is pealing a at the top on the back, there are some loose threads, and there are two holes and impressions to the front where the fastening bolts or screw were inserted.
