An excellent copy of the vintage Williamsburg Colonial Jewelry Box in Solid Mahogany. It is a near perfect reproduction of the Virginia Metalcrafters box with a few minor differences. It has a full width hinge, versus the two small hinges on the original VM box, and has a red velvet interior instead of the yellow one. The escutcheon, handle and hinges are solid brass and in excellent condition. The box is slightly heavier, and does not have any markings on the underside, where the VM mark usually resides. Gently used and in great condition, this beautiful wooden jewelry box is a collectors delight. A wonderful display item.
