Cornflower or Filigree Line By Dugan Glass Co., Gold Decorated Emerald Green Wine Stems, Circa 1907

A very nice set of three gold decorated, emerald green wine stems attributed using the book \"Standard Encyclopedia Of Pressed Glass\" 3rd Edition, 1860-1930 by Bill Edwards and Mike Carwile. The gold decoration is now showing considerable wear especially on the bases so please study the pictures closely. The book states \"Heacock attributes this to the Dugan Company from shards found in the Helman digs.\" Another reference book we used to attribute these was Dugan/Diamond The Story Of Indiana, Pennsylvania Glass by William Heacock, James Measell, and Berry Wiggins. In this book we found an ad for the \"Cornflower\" wine set from a 1909 Butler Brothers Catalog. Measurements are 4 and one sixteenth inches high, 2 and three sixteenth inches across the top, and 1 and seven eighths inches across the base. All wine stems are the same emerald color the photos make one look darker because they were taken in bright sunlight. A really nice set of wine stems we are listing at a very modest start price for the collector with more items to come.
