A lovely Coronation Darbar Medal of George V & Queen Mary of 1911 designed by an Australian sculptor Bertram Mackennal & struck in India.Obverse is conjoined crowned busts of King George Vand Queen Maryfacing right inside around a border\" GEORGE V - MARY \". The reverse features the imperial crown at top with suns rays, two branches at sides enclosing date.A unique medallion as most have the royal pair facing left NOT right.Measuresapprox. 31.88mm,the coin has not been cleaned and has no damage.Please looklook at all scans of item for sale.
