Museumpieces:This is a couple of hippopotamus tooth, beautifully carved with trees, snakes and birds. These two tooth are from the same animal, anextremely large hippo bull.I got them from a heritage. The granddaughter from a missionary who brought them home around 1890, did not want these tooth anymore.Personally, I don\'t collect African ethnographic items, so it is for sale. Technically, this is i..ry.But, because these are antique tooth and dated long before CITES in 1947 was introduced, they may be sold. This is your chance.To find a tooth carved in this quality is rare, finding a couple, carved as each mirror image is nearly impossible. This is museum quality,so rare, so unique!
