\"UNICORN FAMILY\"
I have drastically customized an original traditional sized Breyer model into this wonderful Unicorn Mother Mare. She is a large model standing at 9\" tall and 12\" inches wide. Her babies are the classic size Breyer\'s. All work is completed by myself and are signed PZ14.
A lot of work went into this mare which included removing the head and neck and re attaching to new positions with metal rods and straps, then sculpting to fit.
She has new nostrils, lips, jowls, jaws and chin. Her old ears have been replaced with new ears and securely attached with metal rods.
A new wild flowing mane and new forelock have been added. All new fetlocks added along with feathering on her elbows and back of her thighs.
Her beautifully enhanced flowing tail is made to flow around her back leg.
New nursing mares bag added.
Her beautiful spiral horn is permanently attached it is also very sharp and not suitable for children.
Babies have minimal sculpting done to them which is a rarity for my customs, but they were just too cute to do much more to them. Legs are slightly modified and the head and neck on one baby has been moved for a different pose. Manes and tails are re-done. Heads have been modified to accept the spiral horns which are permanently attached.
They are all painted in oils and acrylics to a beautiful golden shaded palomino color with cream and black with pink shadings. Thin skin areas are shaded in black. Their eyes are multi colored and are beautifully expressive.
They have been sealed and signed PZ14.
