Description: This is an authentic antique engraving approximatley 170 years old! Fine copper plate engraving. \"Destruction De Babylone, Predite Par St. Jean\". Engraving on copper from \"HISTOIRE SACREE de la PROVIDENCE...\". Published by Chez L\'Auteur, Paris in 1730. Engraved by Louis-Antoine de Marne (French engraver born in 1673) after Raphael and other Renaissance masters. BEAUTIFUL detail with scriptural details in French and Latin. This is plate number 171. Previous owners 4 line notation in Latin at bottom of page. A BEAUTIFUL and original engraving which would look fantastic matted and framed! The print is not matted or framed and is being sold as a single sheet as shown in the pictures.Size: Print measures approximately 8.75\" x 11.5\" inches (22.2 x 29.2 cm) as seen in the pictures.Condition: This print is in nice condition for its age. Nice condition with only slight wear!! Strong plate impression. Will frame up very Nicely! Slight discoloration along edges.
