DISCOVERY BAY, Disneyland 1974 (unbuilt theme land for Disneyland)

Discovery Bay was announced to exited Disneyland guests in the mid 1970\'s -- throughout the 70\'s and 80\'s various versions were planned to be constructed north of FRONTIERRLAND to the left of Fantasyland. The project wasscheduled to begin construction right after the New Fantasyland was completed in 1983.Michael Eisner killed the project shortly after he took the helm of Walt Disney Productions.........today STARWARSLAND has taken over where Discovery Bay was suppose to have been -to the great sadness of true Disneyland fans who ever went toDisneyland Showcase Future attractions.
