Circa 1886-1891Very nice gilt decorated sponge dish and toothbrush holder made by Doulton Burslem with a lace impression decorative effect on the surface (hence the Doulton & Slater\'s Patent impressed on the underside of the sponge dish).
Hand decorated with a design in leaves, vines, and flowers in black and gold gilt.
Beautiful condition with no damage.
Toothbrush is about 6 inches tall and the sponge dish a little over 7 inches plus handles.
Impressed marks, Doulton marks, and decorator marks all visible on bottoms.
