This wonderfulBolo Tiewas made by the famousZuni artist Dale (Myron) Edaakie.Dale and his family (he is the son of Dennis and Nancy Edakkie) have been selling their noteworthy inlay pieces since the early 1950\'s. Their work can be found in countless museums and galleries.It can also befound in the major Native Jewelry catalogs and reference books. A few are listed below. Dale has been featured with about 2/3 of a page in the new 2012 book by Gregory Schaff, Ph.D.(see * below).He is an amazing and talented artist. This is a magnificent example of his contemporary work!

This isstamp signed multiple timeswith the correct hallmark for the creator of the piece,\"DaleEdaakie ZUNI N.M.\"on the reverse of the bolo pendant and Dale Edaakie\" on the reverse of each Bolo Tip.I\'ve traded his work and seen different Hallmarks used by he and his wife. I\'d love to know the story abut this recent Hallmark and why he used itso many times! If you can tell me, please do. I\'ve never seen such an \"identified\" piece of Native American Jewelry.It is guaranteed to be Sterling Silver and authentic.Of course,I have found no defects since I believe that this has never been used. Unfortuantely, the mirror-like surface does not lend itself toglare free photos...Without hesitation, this can be described as being excellent condition. I believe you will be pleased!

This amazing Bolo Tie isfull of character and will be immediatly recognized by many people. When you take a look at the pictures, please inspect the precision of the inlaly work. TheAmerican Elk hasfeatures that have been carved on the surface of the stone to showtexture. Take a look at the Elk\'s Antlers and Coat! Because the surface is so mirror like, it was a little challenging to photograph. You may know that it is especially difficult to do thin stone inlay work on convex surfaces. Spend a little time looking at theElk and see if you can feel how Dale has captured theElk\'s power and presence. It is quite extaordinary!Dale Edaakie is widely recognized as one of the great Zuni masters of Inlay work. He is also inovative in his choice of animal and bird subjects.
