This is a Danbury original Series Doll. Children of the Plains by renowned Western artist Gregory Perillo. The head, arms , and legs of each doll are crafted for fine bisque porcelain and skillfully painted by hand. Each doll\'s hand-tailored outfit is based on the colorful dress of the tribe it represents. The Children of the Plains collection is made by Artaffects, Ltd. for the Danbury Mint.
This doll is in good shape. Clean and intact. It was found stored in a small box which did bend the feathers on the top of the head. Otherwise, every other part of the doll is intact and clean. Doll is in sitting position and measures 9 inches sitting, measuring entire doll, measures about 16 to 18 inches. It would make a great addition to any Indian doll collection.
