Postedfor your consideration is this beautiful cast bronze bookend showing Danteseated on a bench holding a book (maybe one of his own – Major Italian Poet ofthe Middle Ages). The base on this measures 4 ⅜” wide and is 3 ½” deep –further up it measures 5 ¼” wide from his elbow to the book in his outstretchedarm – and he measures 6 ⅜” tall to the top of his hat.
