What I know is that this is an original 1955 ADCO Liberty Corp. Davy Crockett at the Alamo main panel of the lunch box and matching thermos. Now being that it is just the flat metal litho panel measuring 8 1/4 X 5 3/4 inches, it seems to me that this was a panel intended to be made into a thermos but wasn\'t. Either that or possibly a salesman\'s sample. What\'s nice are several things. First the scene color and artwork are striking. I notice the pictures online seem particularly vivid. The computer may be enhancing the color slightly, but in reality, this really is a vivid and striking bold color litho panel. There are some scratch or scrapes and also they some light surface rust spots on back but they do little to take away from the great scene. Also being that it is not a box or thermos and lays flat, it is easy to display on a wall. I had it hanging back in the 1980s over as part of a Davy Crockett display. And finally the actual lunch box or thermos of this particular scene and manufacturer are untouchable for most people\'s budget. Therefore, I offer this item for sale for adult collectors to display. It is recommended to keep away from children of any age and to be handled only by an adult. Use caution and avoid the edges and corners of the metal panel when handling.
