Here is a great opportunity for all Department 56 fans or Christmas Village makers!
Every year,My Mother and I made a new Department 56 Christmas Village platform from scratch in her dedicated platform room.
It took months and we had a blast!
However, shejust moved and wedo not have a place for ourplatform,so we are selling our houses!
I am just grabbing shipping boxes and listing them in no particular order, I have a photo of one of our earlier platforms in 2002.
Wedid get much better over the years!
Here is The Snow Village Home in the Making Habitat for Humanity House# 54979
Introduced 1999 and retired 2001
Set of 5 includes the house, man climbing ladder, two men cutting board, two women carrying lumber, and sign. In various stages of completion, the building features exposed rafters and studs, plywood sheeting, clapboard siding and shingled roof. Five workers help finish the job.
