Department 56 Christmas In The City Series \"The Grand Movie Theater\" #58870. Beautiful colorful movie theater is designed after early movie houses in the city. The ticket booth is in front of the theater and is painted gold (have read elsewhere this is 18K gold but I can not confirm), double entry doors are on both sides of the ticket booth. Introduced in 1998 and retired in 1999. This item was displayed by the previous owner who was selling due to a down-sizing move - they really loved their annual Christmas display and shared pictures so we would know how much they cared for the feel their snowy Christmas City. Comes to you in the original packaging - I removed to photograph and test light - on inspection I found no issues, the cord with bulb does work.The box has some storage wear to be expected of a piece this age.
