The von Trapp Family Villa is part of Dept 56 Alpine Village Series. The Castle Frohnburg was used in the movie \"The Sound of Music\" to represent The von Trapp family home. This is a replica of the castle. The set is originally a 5 piece set introduced in 199 and retired in 2002 and retailed for $130.00. This is set is missing the front gate. The castle is very impressive with lots of gold accents throughout. There are two detachable lanterns that go over the front door and there are 3 figurines which represents the Von Trapp family singing. This is a fairly large box so shipping will reflect the unusual size and weight. I have reduced the price for the gates being missing but am hoping to either secure the gates from the collector I purchased it from or from Dept 56. This comes with everything shown, the light adaptor and in the original packaging.

While I may state on an item that I sell that it is“used”, please note that each item ispurchased from the collector who bought the item originally anddisplayed it in their own smoke free/pet free home. The items are in mintcollectible condition unless otherwise stated in my description. Should theitem be brand new and never used/opened I will state that also. New itemswill be opened to photograph and inspect.
