My sister-in-law wasextremely careful..... Italian......need I say more..... The boxeshave been stored carefully, there are no basement smells. All arein the same condition as when stored. The boxes were only opened atthe time of purchase and again now when we checked to be sure theyall had their light cords (she had removed some of the cords to helpin her placement decisions while planning the display room. THESEHAVE NEVER BEEN DISPLAYED.She got sick and so now they have moved to a smaller home.I am selling these for my brother. His wife (my sister-in-law and friend) collected all of the villages and she even had a room that was almost finished where they would soon be a permanent display.
