From my mom’s Dept 56 collection. She is no longer alive so I cannot confirmexactly which pieces have been removed from the box for display, but she onlycreated a small display once or twice.Otherwise they have been stored in their original boxes in a smoke-free,pet-free home.

This piece is still in the original wrapping so I am sureit has not been out of the box. I am not unwrapping and removing things fromthe box for pictures as I wouldn’t be able to re-pack them as well as they wereoriginally packed. It is a lighted building and comes with cord and light bulb, but I haven\'t unpacked it to test and it\'s been in the box for many years. Sold as is.
