The piece itself is pristine - it\'s never been used and has only been taken out of the box for examination (when first purchased) & photographic purposes (for the listing). If the items were wrapped in plastic, the plastic has been discarded. The box may have markings, writing on it or dented edges - the box may not have been treated well in storage but the contents are in perfect condition.
The item is part of an old collector\'s stash and isNEW/UNUSED but because of the fact that it was opened it is being listed as USED.
I have hundreds of other Department 56 Christmas products, primarily but not exclusively from the Heritage Village Collection.
