It is strongly believed that Dickens based his Peggotty\'s Cottage on an actual boat-turned-dwelling on the bank of the canal at Gravesend. Mint condition no cracks/chips or repairs. This piece is 1 of the 3-piece set called \"David Copperfield\". The other two pieces are called \"Betsy Trotwood\'s Cottage\" & \"Solicitor (Mr. Wickfield).\" The companion figures are called \"David Copperfield Characters.\"
