Another piece out of my personal collection, that I\'m letting go. Tinker Bell from 1953 \"Peter Pan\"
with Wings and Pixie Dust on separate cel
Cel size is 16 x 12.5 inches. All hand painted on the back, HAND Inked Colored Ink-lines on the front. 3 registration Punch holes, 7 inches apart, which match the era, at the Disney studios. Cel is un-trimmed and is still very pliable. Cel paint is in GREAT condition. Tink has her wings and pixie dust painted on a separate cel.Character is 4.25 x2.25 inches in size with wings. Pixie dust field, overlaps a bit but measure 8 x 3 inchesCels are presented over a 11x14 photographic print. Luster finish to prevent glare. The image is a screen capture from Return to Neverland. Looked a little more fairy-ish then any screen I could find in Peter Pan. Given that, I have produced a color photographic background from the very scene this cel is from. One of the pics show that background. If the buyer likes I can replace the background in the frame tot he darker background. Buyers choice.Has been signed in the lower right corner by Margaret Kerry, by the original model for Tinker bell in 1953. Autograph can be removed if the buyer wishes. Buyers choice.
