THESE TWO PIECES NEVER HAD AN OPPORTUNITY TO BE RETIRED BEFORE THEY WERE SOLD OUT BECAUSE THEY WERE CREATED IN A LIMITED EDITION. NOW THEY ARE RARELY SOLD ON THE SECONDARY MARKET, NEVER IN BRAND NEW CONDITION AND WITH BOTH PIECES.BRAND NEW IN BOX (Box has minor shelf wear with one taped tear)When I opened this box to verify the condition of the snowglobe, there was a big chunk of the foam insert missing from it. Please see the last picture. This piece features Maleficent as the fire-breathing dragon at the end of Sleeping Beauty. The dragon is at the center of the base. To the right of the dragon in the first snowglobe is Maleficent in her witch form from Sleeping Beauty. She is green faced holding her magic staff. In the second snowglobe on the right is the Evil Queen from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Also known as Queen Grimhilde, she is sitting upon her evil throne. To the left of the dragon in the first snowglobe is Ursula from The Little Mermaid. She has arisen from the surf with her lavender skinned, white haired female human upper form, and from the waist down she has her black octopus-like tentacles all around her. In the second snowglobe to the left is Jafar from Aladdin. He is standing next to a pedestal upon which the hourglass rests. The glitter is iridescent inside all four snowglobes. There is a red light that lights up inside all four snowglobes. (Requires 2 AA batteries which are included.) The base of the piece is made to look like the floor of the evil castle. The dragons claws grip the top of two castle towers.The song it plays is \"Poor Unfortunate Souls\".The music key and the switch to turn the lights on are located on the side of the piece so it does not need to be lifted to play the music or turn on the lights.This snowglobe measures approximately 9 1/4\" wide x 9 1/2\" tall.
The collectors edition pin featuresMaleficent,Queen Grimhilde, andUrsula. On the back it is dated 2007, Limited Edition 500. It is still in the sealed bag that it was shipped in.
This is extremely large and heavy. It weighs almost 13 pounds when boxed.
