This sale is for a figurine of Cinderella and Prince Charming dancing, depicting a scene from Walt Disney\'s 1950 animated feature \"Cinderella.\" The figurine is titled \"So This is Love\" and was released by WDCC (Walt Disney Classics Collection). It is approximately 9 1/2\" tall. Cinderella\'s gown has 23 different paints and 6 kiln firings were done to create opalescent shimmer and shaded fabric folds. The epaulettes on the Prince\'s jacket as well as his collar, buckle and pant stripes are gilded with 11 karat gold.
I purchased the piece from another er several years ago. Although I have never displayed the figurine, I believe it was displayed prior to me taking ownership. The figurine appears in pristine condition with the exception of a couple of areas on the bottom of the base. Please view the 10th, 11th and 12th photos above in order to see close ups of the light rub marks under the figurine\'s base as well as under the Prince\'s foot. The original box, packaging and Certificate of Authentication (COA) are also included with the figurine. With the exception of some very small smudge/rub marks, the box looks as new. The COA has not been removed from its packet - the seal has not been broken on the packet holding the COA.
