This is the original final drawing by Ving Fuller for the Sunday comics page episode of Doc Syke that was published in newspapers on November 23, 1947. It features Doc Syke, the title character, and his son, Little Doc, in an episode themed to Thanksgiving Day.

Ving Fuller was a prolific cartoon and comic strip artist/creator whose career began in the 1920s. He was a cartoonist/illustrator for newspapers and magazines; he created at least two syndicated comic strips: Elza Poppin in the 1930s and Doc Syke in the 1940s. Doc Syke ran in newspapers from 1945 to 1960. The artist wrote \"Ving Fuller\" in the title panel. United Feature Syndicate copyright label appears in one of the panels at lower left.

Paste-up title panel is partly discolored; there are some spots of discoloration and light soiling in the panels; the overall sheet is composed of two sections separated in the space between the first and second rows of panels: VERY GOOD+ condition.
