Dug pair of relics recovered at a Confederate picket post or small cavalry camp at Brandy Station in Culpeper Co. Virginia. The first relic is an iron musket tool with nipple wrench and screw driver. The second relic is an iron shoe or brogan heel plate. Heel plates kept soldiers shoes from wearing out as fast. Both these relics were dug on private property with permission.
