Here issomething unusual for the collector of all things Dumbo. It’s a rare bar of soap that is new in box(NIB). It weighs about 100 grams andDumbo’s ear span is about 4.25 inches.

It is an olditem but since there is no date on the package I am not sure of the age. Some internet research gave a possible age ofsometime in the 1940s. This would meanit is about 70 years old. I don’tbelieve it is that old however just based on the condition of the package.

There is noUPC or SKU codes on the packaging. Sincethese came into wide usage in the late 70s or early 80s the soap is probably atleast 30 to 40 years old. Also on thepackage is the phrase “The Wonderful World of Disney”. This became popularized in the early 60s sobased on that the soap could be as much as 50 years old.

The companyCliro Perfumeries wasn’t incorporated until 1986 which would indicate the soapis only about 30 years old. If anyonehas any data on the actual age of this product I would appreciate hearing fromyou.

The soap wasmade in England but based on packaging was to be sold in France. Now it’s being sold on in the UnitedStates. To me this makes the soap unusual.

The soapstill has a soap/perfume smell to it.Over the years, the internal packaging has worn some grooves into thetop edge of the soap. See pictures forsoap condition.
