Dumbo was only Disney\'s fourth animated film! Interestingly it was made specifically to make up the monetary losses of Fantasia. It is also one of Disney\'s shortest films.
This wonderful graphite and red-lined drawing is of Jim Crow and one of his crow buddies. We\'ll include a Charles Scott Gallery COA.
Note: obviously there\'s some controversy over the crows. However, aside from the main crow\'s name, there are some bright sides to the racial aspects of the crows (when looked at through the lens of the times): all but the main crow were voiced by african americans - which was quite unusual for the time. Also they\'re considered the most intelligent and witty creatures in the movie - very much the opposite of a cinematic stereotype of the time.
