Last where built by Warmink from Almelo. This one has what we call a double hood, fret work ornaments in the top part of the hood.
This clock’s features are:

Gorgeous walnut case. Bent at the bottom, like the baroque style furniture. Clock stands on a platform, they used to do that so the clock wouldn’t be damaged if the floor was cleaned.
Nice engraved dial, with 4 figures that represent the four seasons around the dial. Next to the moon are sights of famous churches in Amsterdam. Marked Warmink on the dial.
Moon phase dial, set to your local moon phase it will keep track of the various stages of the moon. Moon calendar, moon cycle takes 29.5 days can be seen above the moon.
Heavy brass ornament on the door, a woman with cows, she represents Europa. Behind the ornament the pendulum can be seen swinging.
Large heavy bronze statues on top of Atlas and 2 angels tooting their horns, with a little mirror in the other hand. According to Greek mythology; Atlas carries the kingdom of heaven on his shoulder as a punishment for his pride for fighting Zeus, that way he is preventing heaven to fall down on earth. Atlas is also the God of Astronomy that explains somewhat his presence on clocks .
8 day clockwork in excellent running condition.
Chimes the Westminster chime, Westminster means that it chimes each 15 minutes part of the melody repeating the previous melody until It plays the full melody on the hour and chimes the hours.

3 brass weights in the case. Door has a key, hood slides of for easy access to the clock work.
Nice fretwork on the sides.
1970s old. Original paperwork from warmink present and warranty card with date of purchase.
In excellent condition, minor signs of use.
It stands Appr. 84\" or 214 cm tall and 19\" or 39 cm wide and 11\" or 28 cm deep. Without the top statue it is approx. 80” tall. With and depth taken over the console as it is the widest and deepest part.
