This is the most incredible, one of a kind, all original red painted miniature berry basketI have ever seen in all my years of antiquing on the east coast. Even at the \"best\" antiques shows, or at the outdoor market in Brimfield MA, this is the FINEST!!!

I recently found this basket at an estate here in Michigan. The \"dealer\" was a lady who was in the antique business for 50+ years and recently passed away. The basket is no bigger than a silver dollar. It has the ORIGINAL red paint with all its superiorpatina, exceptional wear, and has no breaks or apologies that I need to even disclose!!! The More I look at it, the better it is. I would date to the later part of the 19th century. The construction is delicate, yet sturdy. Very very nice taper to the basket. No loose weavers, no breaks, no touch ups, no nothing other than perfection!!!

Dimensions are 1 1/2\" high (Top of handle to bottom) 1 1/4\" wide at the top and 3/4\" width at the bottom.
