This listing is for a wonderful and rare, original art deco period pair of cast bookends. They were designed by Jeanne Louise Drucklieb 1896-1991 who filed for the patent on November 5, 1925 and received approval and publication on February 23, 1926. They are madeof cast iron with a bronze finish.

Size: All items shown against ruler or in hand or both in one picture to help you judge size. If you need specific measurements just let me know.

Condition: Nice vintage condition as pictured. No chips or cracks. There is some finish loss and wear to the bookends. Please see all the pictures as they are part of the description.

I use a Nikon 1 J3 14.2 megapixel camera shot with macro lens (extreme close up) this draws out many flaws that are not noticeable in hand. Check my response; in most cases items will look better in hand than the pictures show
