Abeautiful rare Georgian sterling silver spoon. It is hallmarked for London 1775-1783 (American Revolutionary war era) with the makers marks being those of Sumner and Crossley (note it is quite a rare piece as they were only in partnership for those eight years). It has a traditional design having a broad bowl and seal top terminal. It isin perfect condition being free from dings splits and repairs. It measures 7inches (17.8cms) long by over 2 inches (5.3cms) across the bowl and weighs 44 grams. A beautifully made rare piece.
