EARLY GEORG JENSEN GI MARK LARGE DRESS CLIP RARE:

This is a gorgeous, early mark GI (dates to circa 1910) it is an arts and crafts motif with hand hammered surface. Great size at 2 inches across. Marked 925 Denmark Sterling 82D and GI mark for Georg Jensen. Weighs 19.8 grams. I have never had a clip by Georg Jensen but I did some research and he did make them, so I think the clip is original but there is a possible repair to the back of the clip there is a bit of solder on the underside, the clip piece itself is not sterling (which was done by a lot of manufacturers to ensure durability). With the clip you could clip it on a chain and wear as a pendant or necklace too. Makes it a very versatile piece, nice early example.
