A super quality good sized German 800 solid silver beaker/ cup. It is hallmarked with the crescent moon andcrown state symbols introduced in 1886 followed by the 800 standard mark andthe maker’s mark being WB for WilhelmBinder of Schwabisch Gmund, Germany founded in1869. I would date this piece to c1900-1910. It has been beautifully made being engraved with entwined initialsABS, BSA, ASB etc... The inside has been richly gilded. It is in superb condition being freefrom dings splits distortions and repairs. It measures almost 4 inches (10cms) tallby 2.25 inches (5.6cms) across the rim and 1.5 inches (3.8cms) across the baseand weighs 82 grams. A beautifully design piece.
