THIS IS A FANTASTIC ANTIQUE SHOE HORN.WITH A SOLID STERLING SILVER HANDLE.THE HANDLE IS BEAUTIFULLY MADE.CARVEDINTO THE SHAPE OF AN OWL.THE OWL IS SET WITHTWO LOVELY RED STONESFOR EYES ON ONE SIDE OF THE HANDLE AND HAS EMPTY EYE SOCKETS ON THE OTHER.HALLMARKED AS STERLING SILVER.THE PIECE WAS ASSAYED AT THE BIRMINGHAM OFFICE IN 1906.A WONDERFUL EDWARDIAN PIECE.TOP QUALITY AND IN VERY GOOD CONDITION.THE HORNITSELF IS MARKED AS \'ENGLISH MAKE\'.IN A GREAT SIZE.THE HORN IS 15CM LONG.IT HAS A VERY NICE WEIGHT OF 47.1 GRAMS.A SUPERB ITEM THAT WOULD MAKE A SPLENDID GIFT.
