This is an estate piece in overall beautiful and functional condition, however there are a few issues from normal wear/age that could be repaired by a silversmith if desired. The piece rocks slightly and the lid needs a bit of extra effort to open and close (though it does fully open and close). There are slight bends in the silver around the bottom rim and there is some silverpolish residue.
