$49.95

Selling a charming vintage print by the beloved artist Esther Hunt. Size including frame is 10\" x 15\" . This lovely little print depicts an asian girl in yellow traditional attire holding what appear to be jonquils or daffodils. She is looking away from the viewer pensively. The background shows large leafy plants and exotic birds. This print is in it\'s original, handpainted frame. Frame is black with gold trim with dainty pink flowers painted on corners and bottom. Some of the paint has worn from the frame. This could to touched up with gentle dabbing of permanent marker, but I will leave that for the new owner to decide. Frame has original cardboard backing which is solid and in good condition, and a brown paper backing which is fragile and flaking apart. The paper backing could be removed if desired. Even the original shop label from the store in San Francisco (a city where Esther Hunt lived for many years) is intact, probably 75+ years old. In the future it will likely become more difficult to find these prints in their original condition. Take advantage of this opportunity to purchase this charming piece of history at a reasonable price.
