This guitar has not yet had a home in consumer hands! It is lightly stamped \"used\" on the back of the headstock. This designation means the guitar has a minor cosmetic blemish. It is a completely playable instrument with no sacrifice of tone, structure, or playability. This particular guitar has a few very light pick or fingernail scratches in the satin finish on top from being tested, only visible when caught under strong lighting at the right angle. There are some tiny specks of overspray in the finish on the back of the body in one area and there is a small cloudy spot in the finish on the side. I have included a close-up photo of each imperfection. Aside from these imperfections, the guitar is in flawless condition.
This is one of the last batch of the made-in-Japan model, before EVH switched production to China and Mexico. The build quality is second-to-none. Also, the guitar has received a thorough professional setup and plays low and fast across all frets without a buzz!
The EVH hard case with heavy-duty TSA latches is new and included. Keep in mind that the made-in-Mexico Wolfgangs that replaced these Japanese modelsdonot include a case!
