Mun Ebony (Diospyros Mun)

Origin: Southeast Asia.

Very strong, hard, dense, wavy to irregular grain and usually interlocked with fine texture. Color from dark green to black striping with caramel colored background. Contrast such as tan, green dark chocolate and even dark deep purple is often found in this wood...

Excellent turning wood, Finishes well. Probably the most stable species in all of the ebonies family. This species is the top of the line and no doubt a first class timber. Everyone who have worked with it just can\'t get enough of it! This is a genuine ebony and nowaday it is next to impossible to obtain...
Ends waxed to protect the piece. Fully dry and ready to use :-)
