Up for sale is an EXTREMELY RARE Royal Doulton Earthenware Figurine Clarissa HN1525.
Clarissa is decorated in green and red and adornedwith a parasol. Clarissa was introduced in 1932 and retired in 1938. The dating of Clarissa\'sbackstamp would indicate she was an early production piece around 1932. The short production period makes Clarissa very desirable andrare. Clarissa is produced in an earthenware body making her more porous than china and thereby increasing the chance of damage. Due to Clarissa\'s age of well over 80 years, crazing of the surface glaze is to be expected. Clarissa has no cracks, chips, or nicks, and has not been repaired nor restored.
GivenClarissa\'s rarity and excellent condition for her age, Clarissa will make a great addition to anyone\'s Royal Doulton Figurine collection.
