This sale is for the famous two-volume Hot Press Bible printed in Philadelphia, PA in 1798 by John Thompson & Abraham Small. These volumes are intact and in generally very sound condition for their age. The covers are detached but generally intact. The bindingsare in strong condition (no loose pages). The internal pages are in very bright condition for volumes of this age. There are a couple areas where my father (who was a Bible collector)had postmarks dated July 4, 1976 stamped on the pages (don\'t know why he did this). My father purchased these volumes in the 1950\'s, and they have been a part of his collection since that time. Each volume measures approximately16 1/2inches by10 1/2inches by 3 inches in height.
