EYE-CATCHING VTG STERLING SILVER AMETHYST & SEED PEARL RING AUSTRO-HUNGARIAN?

Presented is a beautiful ring done in silver, amethyst, seed pearl and pink accent stones. The ring looks like an Austro-Hungarian piece, dating to the late 1800s or early 1900s. The ring is set with a large emerald cut amethyst of about 4.13 carats in size. Around the amethyst are seed pearls, black enamel, and pink accent stones. The silver setting is quite ornate, with scroll and swirl designs. The silver has a gold wash.

The ring is in great condition. The stones are well set. There are no breaks and no repairs.

The ring is stamped 935 for the purity of the silver, as well as Egyptian hallmarks. The style strongly suggests an Austro-Hungarian origin, imported into Egypt at a later date.

The ring is a size 6 1/2.

The ring weighs 9.7 grams.
