This vintage quilt top came from an elderly lady\'s estate. The quilt has been hand and machine pieced. Some of the fabrics are very early 1900\'s, and some date to the 30\'s era. I was convinced it was a tumbling blocks, when looking close up, but when I looked at the pictures the stars really came out to me. I am thinking it may be a Dutch Tile, or Arabian Star pattern . It measures 79\" x 68\". The quilt top does have some holes and spots. I have tried to show many of them. It seems that antique brown print fabric seems to be some of the most fragile, and this quilt top is no exception. I am just not willing to write it off because of the damage, believing that someone out there that loves antique textiles will have a vision for what it could be, and rescue it.
