Early 1900\'s Stand Up Display Calendar w/ Dutch Children Images Vertical Weeks
This beautiful stand up display calendar is from around the 1900\'s era. It does not have a year on it but January 1 starts on Wednesday and some research shows that year 1897 and 1903. It has 3 panels with some images of Dutch style children with the wooden shoes and hats typical of the Dutch. On the bottom of each panel are 4 month of the year and the weeks in the calendar are arranged vertically which I have never seen before. All three panels are attached to each other. It is in fair condition, there is some wear on the fold creases but they are still firmly attached to each other. Two of the feet that hold it in a standing position are torn off and because of this it has some trouble standing by itself, on the top center panel it has torn along the edge but someone has repaired this by taping it from the back. The color is nice and bright and it was printed on thick cardboard. Measures about 12 x 15 inches.
