DescriptionThe heavy brass peg leg candlestick is likely from Europe. The stem is lathe-turned and the base is cast, see pictures. It is a lovely decorative and functional piece in traditional style with a square base.
The smaller bell metal candlestick has a more polished finish and maintains its original lifter in the base.
Both are in very good condition with normal wear for age and use.
The dimensions of each are as follows:
Peg Leg - 9 inches high with a 3 1/4 inch square base and 2 inch top.
Bell Metal - 6 inches high with a 3 1/2 inch round base and 1 3/4 inch top.
