Drawn by JOSE LUIS SALINAS and syndicated under King Features.This is an EXCELLENT example of the western adventure strip centered around the exploits of the heroic Mexican caballero CISCO KID and his sidekick PONCHO. Written by Rod Reed and illustrated by Argentine illustrator JOSE LUIS SALINAS, the popular strip ran from January, 1951 until August, 1968. This early original daily has an image area that measures 7\" x 2\" in size and is signed by the artist in the last panel.
