Decorative Jug

This wonderful jug has a rich gilded top including the spout and handle.

The gilding is in great shape I may add and shows no sign of ware.

The scene depicts Fountains Abbey, and I cannot make our who signed this piece but have enclosed a picture of the signature for your inspection.

The scene of the abbey is done in a soft brown on an almost light beige backgrounds.

The bottom of the jug is encircled in gold with two gold bands, and then gold filigree work all around the base of it.

Dimensions : 3.5\" in diameter and 6.5\" tall.

There are no chips, cracks or repairs to this jug, but there is a small firing flaw(see picture above).

The there are one or two small paint flecks, which if you look closely at the pictures you can see.
