For sale is an early Gorham CHANTILLY pattern coffee pot,number A596, dated 1899. The pot is 10inches tall by about 8 ¾ inches long from spout to handle tip and weighs 825 grams. The decoration is what is known as the GRANDvariant, with the fancy foot. It is monogrammed“OO” on one side and is dated “1899” on the other. It is marked with the Gorham trademark, “STERLING/ A596 / 1 ¾ PINT” and “30” with a sickle date code for 1899. The lid is also marked “STERLING 30”.<P>

Condition on the pot is quite good. There is a small crease dent just above themonogram and a few other very minor dings.A fine old coffee pot in a great pattern.<P>
