This is a fantastic estate find! One of a kind, maybe from a series, this is a Royal Doulton hand painted milk pitcher standing 5\" tall with a 4 5/8\" diameter. Features a gentleman with a glass of beer as shown. Great detail. On the back is \"Here\'s a Health To Them That\'s AWA\" Burns which according to my research is a poem by Robert Burns. Handle, spout, and inside the pitcher are amazing thistles! Bottom has the Royal Doulton hallmark and says England. Notice there is a spider line crack which is smooth to the touch and does not go through to inside. Crazing attests to its age. Excellent vintage condition.
