Very early ‘BEST FOODS REG.’ Glass Jar in surprisingly excellentcondition. I can\'t say that for the lid, which looks like it was yelloworiginally. It has been on a shelf in the barn with a couple of screws in it aslong as I can remember. It has an ever so slight \'Pinkish or Amber\' tint to it.On the side near the bottom is a Triangle with IPG in it. Looking it up on thenet, IPG was Illinois Pacific Glass Corporation, San Francisco, California(c.1925-1930 or 1932). Glass plant locations at Los Angeles; Oakland, CA;Seattle, WA.& Portland, OR. Usually there is a tiny triangle inside thelarger triangle, squeezed in above the letters. This mark might have been usedearlier than 1925. There is an 11 23 on another side near the bottom, couldthis be a date code for November 1923 ?
